I was running out of things to talk about...until I realized...IT’S NOW FALL. Do you guys know what that means?? Sweater weather. Hoodie weather. PANTS WEATHER. Oh my. I can’t contain my excitement. As a Summer lover, this year it obviously felt super underwhelming. Fall brings Halloween, and almost the end of 2020. We are almost there guys, let’s just hope 2021 brings peace.

Before we briefly touch on some cozy wear, I want to talk about music. You all know me as the positive, anti-angst gal. WELL IT’S FALL NOW. I may start participating in simp season. I wish I was kidding. This morning I woke up, and I’m not sure if it was the lack of caffeine or what, but I was NOT in the mood. For anything. I mean, I still got dressed and went to work for a little bit. Then I felt fine, but maybe it was the sad Spotify playlist that got me. Not only did it get me in a simpy mood, but it got me thinking. Maybe it’s time to add an Absolute Simp playlist?? Stay tuned…

Okay hoodies. Yes, when I said I was going to briefly touch on it, I actually meant brief this time. As it IS the season for cozy clothes, I can expect we will have tons of new goodies coming up in the next few months. I am just as excited as you are. Personally, my favorite hoodie is still from the Witt Lowry drop that I talked about a couple weeks ago. I can’t get enough. However, if I had my hands on it, I probably would be LIVING in a Half Alive hoodie as well. The inflorescence drop is still running through my mind. The website is just so jaw dropping, I’ll take one of everything please.

Also, coming this fall, we have a lot of new music. As much as I would like to talk about ALL of it, I will share them all in individual posts. My latest obsession? Makarri. Literally going to add them to our Absolute Coachella playlist. Why? They remind me of sitting in Indio, at 5pm. Literally just VIBING. I miss it so much, and they give me the nostalgia and serotonin my COVID-mindset brain needs. That is literally such a contradiction to my above statement about simping. With new things in the works, maybe they’ll deliver something to bring me back down when I need it. 

Another Fall staple for me? MOOD LIGHTING. I just got an LED light bulb. Haven’t put it to the test, but I swear not only do I write funnier blog posts in purple light, BUT our artists merch looks cool in it too. Imagine hot pink in green light? Seriously, cop some hoodies, cop some light bulbs...we’re taking over this season.
