So it has come to my attention, that I have been FAR too silent in this neck of the woods. I know, I’m the worst. My span of attention is less than a fly these days. Just now, I sat down to type this...and spent 10 minutes adjusting the color of my lights in my room. I have a color changing lightbulb, I might as well be a Tik Tok star by now.

I’m no star, however, the person I’m about to write about very well is on that path. Charlotte Sands. Now I know, I haven’t put one of our artists in the spotlight in a hot minute. THIS ONE IS SO WORTH THE COMEBACK TO THIS SERIES. While still working in the office, I heard about Charlotte briefly. Everyone was talking about how excited they were for her new merch drop, which is out now and DOPE. It will be linked below. Lonely and not lonely people are welcome to wear. You’ll understand that joke once you see the items. Not to mention, everyone was talking about her hair. As someone who receives hair compliments often, I HAD to see what was so great about it. IT’S BLUE. Iconic. Gives me a girl at Coachella vibes, but minus Coachella sadly. I can’t get into that. 

So...why IS Charlotte so amazing? Besides the blue hair obviously. Well, for one, she JUST released a new single, and it went viral. LIKE WHAT. It’s called “Dress” and I think everyone should take a listen before reading further. Or should I put spoiler alert? Because that’s what I’m about to do right now. Coming from one blogger fangirl to the next, this song is what fangirl dreams are made of. It’s LITERALLY about Harry Styles in a dress. Charlotte sings about how much she loves it, and loves how everyone’s pressed about it. We have to stan.

Now, one thing that came out of this that I unexpectedly loved, was her TikTok persona. First of all, I had no idea that artists could see the playlists you add their songs to? That’s literally so embarrassing……..for everyone making breakup lists to cry to. Mine have abstract names, you’ll never know what I’m hiding. I’m still finding out what secret playlist to add “Dress” to...she’ll have to add me to her next Tik Tok series. Not to mention the song absolutely blew up on that platform as well. If you are looking to make music, even if it is awful, Gen Z will find a way to make it the most popular song on the planet. LUCKY FOR OUR EARS, this song is everything other than bad.

Not to mention Charlotte in general. The kindest soul ever. Once people have a taste of Tik Tok fame, their egos blow up. Like why?? My little sister made one of her messy room that went viral, and now she’s all big headed. Not our blue haired beauty though! As humble as can be, and appreciating all the workers who are helping her get to the top. We again, have to stan. Also, the merch?? Phenomenal. While white crewnecks do scare me, I will say that one is my favorite one. It literally gives you verbal permission on it to wear when you’re lonely. Now, I would never admit this on my personal page, but I WOULD BE IN THAT 24/7. A nice little lonely crewneck hug to fall asleep with. BRB I need 20.
